Fully Automatic Office Inserter with High-Capacity Features
The 6308 Series Inserters combine user-friendly features with high productivity. Four standard models are available, both with and without intelligence, to meet the needs of any size office or small mailroom. The configurations include a high-capacity document feeder for up to 725 sheets, standard and special feeders, and short feed trays. Users can store up to 50 programmable jobs for efficient and hassle-free set-up and operation.
Enhanced innovations include a 7” full-color touchscreen control panel with a graphical interface, a locking thumbwheel adjustment for the envelope side guides, and a paper path window that allows users to see the insert area without stopping or opening the inserter. Standard features include a high-capacity vertical output stacker, which holds up to 500 finished envelopes, automatic paper, and envelope presence sensors with graphic indicators on the control panel, and a large top-loading envelope hopper with a capacity of up to 325 envelopes.
Models with intelligence feature a CIS scanner, which accurately reads OMR, 1D and 2D barcodes, and QR codes. This full-width scanner reads the entire page without being physically adjusted, allowing codes to be printed in any location on a document.
The powerful and versatile 6308 Series can fold and insert up to 10 pages in half-fold mode. It also can process documents of various lengths and thicknesses simultaneously at speeds of up to 3,800 per hour and up to 40,000 pieces per month.
Increase productivity with options including a production feeder that holds up to 1,200 sheets or 325 BREs, a short feed tray, CIS Scanner, Advanced OMR and BCR, Formax MailDocTM Software, and a side exit tray for up to 400 filled envelopes.
